I hope you know what I meant...loads of willow sticks tied together with some sort of wooden tie.

Anyway, I bought one of these when I got Simba. In the past few weeks hes chewed the ties off which has created the sticks to go everywhere. Anyway, Simba loves them and has stripped some of the wood off but is now physically chewing bits off the ends and ingesting them. Could this harm him? Could it splinter and harm him? I've took them out for now before I get the yay or nay off people on here. But he does love them. Do I just buy a new lot for him?

Hope that makes sense!

None of mine like the sticks but Lottie and Grace love the willow ball and it disappears completely so they must be eating it and come to no harm

So its safe for him to ingest them?

Mine eat them and have had no probs, I doubt they'd sell them suitable for rodents if they weren't safe

Thank you :D
I'll put them back in for now then and buy new ones next time I'm up at Wilsons :D

My rabbits like them but once they have stripped the bark off the individual sticks I throw them away. I have bought a bundle for my piggies when they arrive.

These sound a good idea. Am going to have a look online for some, may pass the "boredom" time for my three boys.

Willow is safe for guineas and rabbits, my rabbits love them but the guineas aren't that bothered.

Apparently Willow is a natural pain reliever (I read in a book called "Rabbit health in the 21st century")

That's why my lot get i as much as poss!
