I'm in the process of replacing my piggy's hides and decided to purchase a willow twig woven tunnel from Guinea Pigs Australia. When it arrived it had quite a strong smell so I decided to give it a wipe down with dish soap and vinegar, before rinsing it, and leaving it to dry; but the smell is still there. Does anyone know if this is normal?

I’ve used willow twig balls / cones and they never smell - I’d be very wary of using it

Thanks guys, I've not put it anywhere near my pig and sent an email to the company to let them know what's going on (excluding my washing it teehee).
