I lost Willow to bloat on Sunday morning. Saturday lunchtime she was fine – Sunday evening I rushed her to the vets and by morning she was gone.
She was small, noisy and opinionated. She wasn't top pig but would inspect the others and do a nose off just for the hell of it. She seemed to spend all day going from pig to pig shoving noses in the air. She led the charge for food would yell at the sound of a knife in the kitchen - all the others joining in.
She hated being touched – giving off a distinct ‘off the fur’ vibe at all times but would come to the cage edge to ask if you perhaps had some foodables, she would sniff your hand and rub her face against it before delivering a swift nip if there was no food and trotting off triumphant.
She loved the other bears and would be the one who would snuggle with any who were scared.
Sleep tight sassy little one. I don’t know what on earth happened but despite being ‘odd’ I loved every inch of you.
