I just picked up my guinea pig (smudge) to have a play. I was quite shocked to notice that his willy almost had a small bubble of red stuff coming out of his willy. I did not have enough time to examine it, as it popped back into his body a few seconds after I picked him up. He seems to be acting normal. Is he unwell?

Without further detail (and a picture) it is impossible to comment except to say that a "red bubble" sounds like it could be blood from possibly a urine infection or stone.
Please have him properly checked by a cavy-savvy vet as soon as possible (if you are based int the UK please see our vet locator link) and in the interim take time to observe his behaviour as any information you can provide the vet will be helpful in finding out if there is anything wrong.
.
For example is he in any discomfort? Is he making a noise when peeing or pooing? Is he drinking more water than normal? How old is he and does he live on his own or with another piggie?
I would also be monitoring his weight on a daily basis to ensure his food intake has not reduced owing to any discomfort..

If you can take with you a fresh urine sample (get him to pee into a clean plastic pet carrier and syringe up the urine into a sterile syringe or container to take with you) so the vet can check it for blood (and microscopically for crystals) - they will also do an exam to feel for any tenderness in his urinary system (and may even wish to perform an Xray if they suspect there are any stones).

If it happens again and you can provide a picture/more detail then maybe we can help further.
