I'm so stupid I had Wilma on the bed, and she was getting comfortable she was at the edge but as I was watching I thought she'd be ok next minute I Saw her about to fall I grabbed her but she slid out my hand onto the floor, she didn't make a sound got up straight away and is pottering about. What should I be looking for, incase she isn't ok?!

It was all very slow motion and I think she managed to slide down the quilt... if that makes sense...

Can't believe I didn't move her quicker she was lying down but must have been to far on the edge! ...8....

Don't worry hun. Wilma sounds fine to me. If she was injured in anyway, you would know about it as she would be limping or something. Once, Connie jumped out of my arms on to the the stone kitchen floor (not from any great height), she made a horrible squeak and started limping :( I felt so bad but after a few minutes, she was fine. It turned out she had just winded herself.

She seems fine and I checked her teeth just to make sure, they aren't broke or anything, She is lying down beside me just now and had some flaked peas. I feel terrible for not moving her, when I seen she was lying down I thought she would be ok...

Rookie mistake number 1... I shall have to be keeping a better eye on them from now on disappointed I could be so silly!

These things happen, but Wilma doesn't seem to have taken any harm, so don't beat yourself up too much about it!

Gosh my heart was in my mouth then!

She sounds just fine. Gypsy fell once and it's heart stopping.

No harm done - relax!

Cuddles jumped out of my husbands arms the other night into her cage, I think she was extremely desperate for a wee. She was fine but we felt awful for ages thinking we done her some harm but she was fine no probs.

Try not to worry, I'm sure Wilma is fine.

I've had a few 'close-shaves' with mine in the past and they were scary enough, so I'm not surprised you were upset.

Glad Wilma seems ok. Is is too early for you to have a stiff drink to calm your nerves?!.....strictly medicinal, of course ;)

She is obviously just keeping you on your toes! Hope you heart recovers from the heart attack lol :)

We've just had veggies, she was fiirst up... for some grub and is happily munching squeaking as usual, her silly mum will just have to be much careful in future but no harm down thankfully, now her mummy is heading out for some very strict drinks ))....

It's an awful feeling when they do fall, it sounds like Wilma is just fine. A few years ago Tuppy fell off the bed, luckily she (somehow!?) fell horizontally i.e. feet first - not vertically i.e. nose first - and landed on her feet on the carpet. No harm done at all but I know I was suffering for a bit...the pigs very rarely go on the bed now.

I think I may need to reconsider the bed idea or just be more careful in future, Wilma managed to fall onto her feet to and I think me trying to grab her and her slipping out my hand made the fall not as bad....

Then she came walking out from under the quilt as if saying what just happened there? :))..

LOL! I don't mean to laugh, but I just have this imagine of Wilma quilt surfing and then looking at you as if to say "Yeh? AAAnnnddd?" and then trotting off! Hehe :)
