After being on the phone to the vet a couple of times today to discuss Mary’s bladder/uti/cystitis problem, and also to ask if it’s okay to give Wilma Mary’s left over baytril as I noticed Wilma also had a pink stained wee last night. Tonight I’ve found a small lump behind her cheek.. It moves a little when you feel it. I’ve had an funny feeling since I got her that she’s got an underlying health problem. And it seems my gut instinct is right
. She’s gained 100g in a week which is is why I decided to feel for lumps..
I’m now concerned her cute floppy double chin is actually just fluid/tumour or something bad?...
The exotic vet isn’t back from holiday until next week, But I’ll phone in the morning to book Wilma an appointment with my usual vet for Thursday.
How do they investigate what the lump is? Do they stick a needle in and test it? Or will she have to have an X-ray?
