I have to keep my guinea pigs outside all year due to a crazy terrier lol but i would love to have them inside in the cold months.

I bed them on dust extracted wood shavings and lots of hay in their nest box. Their hutch is on the most sheltered side of the house.

Has anyone got any tips on keeping them nice and toasty in the winter? After being on this forum i feel terrible about them being outside lol and want to make sure they are as hapyp as possible.

You could use a snugglesafe.:) You just heat them in a microwave for about 5 mins depending on the wattage of your microwave and they are meant to stay warm for 10 hours. You can buy them either online or at pets at home.

I would also recommend a snugglesafe. After your advise on my thread the other day Nemo, I went out and brought one from pets at home yesterday. It was £18.99 but well worth the money I think. I've heated it up today just to try it out (the girls will be trying it out during the winter) and its still toasty warm now.

As for keeping them warmer, do you have a shed or outbuilding that you could put them in? If not, plenty of hay will do the trick. Also, you could attached a piece of tarpaulin to the hutch to pull down at night to keep the chill out.
My 2 live in the brick outhouse and like you, I feel guilty not having them in the house due to lack of space and OH being allergic to them :(
