O good luck.

My piggie had xray with no sedation or GA....are they trying that with biscuit?

did they, no I don't think so I though they needed sedation to keep them still I will ask if that is possible it would make it safer:)

Well my vet used little leg ties and Bob stayed still however he was very ill :(

But worth a shot...

Poor Biscuit :...
Hope it all goes well and the x-rays are clear, these bloody stones are a nightmare grrrr
Our vet didn't use GA when she x-rayed our boy, he was very ill though and we didn't think he'd be a good candidate for surgery :0 48 hours of intense CC etc. got him a little bit stronger and ready for his op 8...
Thank god he's totally 100% now so know how worrying it is for you.
Hugs to Biscuit x>>

Good luck to Biscuit. My Mimsi had an x-ray for bladder stones and they tied weight around him to keep him balanced and immobile. It worked fine and they got their x-rays...~The vet did say that if he struggled they would have to administer sedation but that wasnt necesary..

Hope it goes well for biscuit, our vet did an xray by giving piggie a little whiff of gas as opposed to GA, she was round in no time.

Maybe ask the vet if that may be an option, I have read of others on here whose piggies have xrays concious though.. Hope it all goes well and no stones are found. x

Aww, poor boy, good luck Biscuit - crossing everything.
x

There shouldn't be any need for GA for an xray. I've had four pigs x rayed and never needed gas, it's much safer without.

I too would request if he could have an xray without any sort of GA. Hope Biscuit is alright though, please let us know how he gets on.

Lots of vibes littlun x

Good luck to Biscuit, sending him good vibes! Please ask your vet not to use GA for an x-ray. Let us know how Biscuit gets on :)

Good luck to Biscuit, let us know how it goes on tuesday, will be keeping our finger, toes and paws crossed here! Good luck :) xxxxx
