How did their first night go?

First night went fine. They seem to get around ok. I think one sow is completely blind but the other may be partially sighted.

They are very slender compared to my other piggies although obviously in good health - nice coats etc.

I am going to do a weigh in later and take some photos.

Which RSPCA is it. I thought bristol was still giving any pigs to a breeder in south bristol.

The RSPCA that I adopted the two sows from had a very stringent rehoming policy - telephone "interview", homecheck by two women, chat when I first met the piggies and signing of adoption forms.

I met some lovely RSPCA staff at the branch when I collected them yesterday who obviously cared very deeply about all the animals. The two little sows had obviously stolen a few hearts there! xoxo

I am glad that your girls are settling in well; they couldn't come to a better home! I can understand why the RSPCA wanted to be extra careful with those two; but it is great that they can find a private home and won't be stuck in rescue for the rest of their lives.
