It’s so stressful watching for a new bond.



Seeing if the lonely white youngster will be able to join my 3 older sows.



1 hour in and my top 2 and the new lady are interacting + grazing reasonably politely.
My oldest Wenlock who is my bottom ranked sow has mostly been keeping out of the way.

Still quite a lot of chasing going on.

Youngster is actively avoiding my top sow, getting out of the way of number 2.

She will join the mob around a scattering of tasty treats.

Idealy I need to move onto the next stage before it rains at teatime. Such a waiting game.
Youngster is certainly relaxed enough to graze well.

I’d better prepare the separate bed in case things aren’t relaxed enough to risk putting the all into the hutch/aviary combo come teatime.

Thunderstorms have arrived here so they’ve had to go into the bottom half of the hutch with access to the aviary run. Plenty of space and lots of box tunnels.

The move into their enclosure was much calmer than expected. It’s just a waiting game now.
