It's been a little while since I posted here and unfortunately I have to start with yet more bad news. Those of you who have seen my last few posts here will know that I lost a few of my precious babies to an extremely nasty chest infection/virus. Unfortunately a few weeks after we lost Jenny my gorgeous little man Ozzy got the same thing. How, I still do not know, Ozzy and Sora were kept totally separate from the herd piggies... Anyway, long story short I lost my little man and Sora lost the piggy he's called his bro since he was a mere pup.

After a clean bill of health (and thankfully all the piggies now are doing well and looking healthy) I am taking Sora back to Milhaven to, hopefully, be paired up with a baby boy of his choosing. He's a very timid and laid back little man and he's clearly been hit hard by losing his bro so fingers crossed he will react well to a lovely little boar who he can take under his wing just like Ozzy did with him.

I don't know who we're going to meet yet but I'm very excited. Losing Ozzy hurt so much but knowing that we can sort Sora out and hopefully give a new boar the life that Ozzy had here with Sora for over two years makes me sure that we're ready to go dating.

Please keep your fingers crossed and send us plenty of bonding vibes. I've never gone boar dating before but it should be an experience to remember and hopefully it will go well and Sora will get exactly what he needs. He deserves it after what he's been through, my poor little dude. :(

Good luck Sora! I hope you find the perfect companion! And ghostbusterbunny, I'm so sorry you lost some babies to a bad virus, that must have been awful. I hope this will bring peace.

I am very sorry for your loss! What a rotten year for you!

Fingers firmly crossed that Sora wll find a new friend of his liking!

All the luck in the world to you and Sora, I am sure he will choose a lovely new friend. Hope you are okay after such a tough time.

Keep us updated on the date!

Are you alright? That must have been awful for you. I really hope that Sora will find a great friend to keep him company and I hope that it might help to heal your heart a little bit, though I know you won't forget Ozzy and Jenny.

All the best of luck for your boar bonding x

I knew that sooner or later I'd have a pretty rotten year or two, considering that a lot of my piggies are the same age and so are going to hit their later years together... but this last few months has just been horrendous for me and the piggies. :(

I do get to come back with some good news though (touch wood with fingers crossed).

Sora has had a very exciting day! I got to meet and cuddle three adorable bachelors, two youngins and one roughly the same age as Sora - I could have taken all three, talk about a stunning line up! The first piggy, one of the babies (an adorable little satin who I actually want to go and pignap!) unfortunately didn't seem to like Sora and went straight for him!

So. We decided to try the older boar next rather than the other cheeky babby (who is going to be a mahoosive boar from the look of him now!). This particular boar is called Gerald and my was he taken by Sora! Popcorns everywhere, lots of mounting and humping by both boys  but zero aggression by either piggy! So Gerald is now home with me and Sora, currently tucking into a pile of readigrass and I'm sure looking forwards to a peaceful night together. He is one hunky chap and I think he's perfect. He's a big pig with a big personality and I think Sora's going to come out of his shell more and more with Gerald around to back him up.

Please keep your fingers crossed that all continues to go well for both of them!

All fingers and claws crossed here in the WDMMBT household! I hope it continues to go well between Gerald and Sora! :)

Fingers very firmly crossed, but it sounds really good! Gerald is the older boy? Older boars mellow with age and are often much happier to have another boarfriend in their life again.

The most critical point is when your two boys wake up after their first sleep together and react to the present of another boar in their space.

I have high hopes for theses two! Lovely to see you both again today and help little Sora feel happy again.

There's very little difference in their age - Gerald might be a little older but there's only a few months in it, which is nice for both of them I think. They both lit up when they met each other so I really hope that they'll be just fine when they realise that they have another boar with them again. All the signs are good right now I think!

Aww, thank you so much! You always find us the perfect companion piggies for our bunch and Gerald is definitely a massive hit with already! He was right at the front for cabbage earlier, giving me a good sniff and having a chin tickle before he got some - he's such a confident little fella, he's fab! :)

Good luck! Looking forward to seeing the pigtures one he settles in!

So happy for both you and Sora! I hope that he and Gerald (a great name for a guinea pig btw!) settle in and become great friends. Pictures please!

Oh I am so sorry for your losses. How awful things have been for you. Congratulations on your new addition.

Thanks everyone! The boys have got through their first night together and right now they're snuggled up in one of their hideys together! Still plenty of rumbling and humping (boars are gross animals sometimes!) but I've not seen any aggression from either pig. They're chatting away to each other when they mooch around their hutch and if one strays too far the other runs over which is simply adorable!

I think we're onto a winner here! :D

sorry to hear you lost more piggies, good luck with the bonding and heres to a better year next year hon x
