With Cage Chloroplast

Yes - what did you have in mind?
Are you using fleece bedding?

Bear in mind that coroplast helps hold bedding and hay inside so if you don’t use it you would need to use fleece bedding and accept that hay will find its way out (well, it does that with coroplast anyway!)

Mine live in my shed but when they have to come indoors due to hot weather, they go into a c&c cage and I use a shower curtain or old oilcloth tablecloth on the floor.
 
Anything waterproof underneath will do. I used to use interlocking rubber playmats. My old cage was on the floor so it acted as insulation as well as protection.

You cage must have something to protect the floor (ie the shower curtain if you dont want to use Coroplast, or foam mats as suggested above)
Then you need an an absorbent layer (something like puppy pads) so urine wicks through the fleece. (the fleece wont work if you dont have an absorbent layer)
Then your fleece.

Alternatively you use a fleece liner with an absorbent layer already stitched in (it is like a sandwich of under layer of fleece, absorbent layer, decorative top layer of fleece). (You still need shower curtain/foam mats under the liner though)
I wouldn't bother using fleece liners which have a waterproof bottom (which is sandwiched like waterproof bottom, absorbent layer, decorative top layer of fleece), as they tend to smell due to the trapping of moisture.

You could except some people find that towels don’t always dry quickly enough so it can leave fleece damp. They also tend to smell more quickly because of that.
You ideally went an absorbent layer which locks the dampness away from the fleece.
 
I use adult reusable bed protection pads - they are the perfect size for a c&c cage and very easy to wash and dry

I use a sheet of tarp cut to size, and cable tie it to the grids. I use puppy training pads on that for absorption, and then paper bedding and fleece over the pads.

Hi and welcome

You still need a waterproof surface that can be cleaned (my pens sit on vinyl so I can change the layout at need). Above that comes an absorbent layer of fabric and above that the fleece.

There is a lot of hay ending up outside the cages as well as pees being sprayed through the grids, though so you will have to ensure that the waterproof underlay extends beyond the cage. In a pinch a plastic shower curtain will also do but it is not ideal since it will move around on its own.

This was the first layout when I moved the cages to the other end of the lounge in 2014. The whole room has since been floored with vinyl. But it gives you an idea how a layout without coroplast would look.

Thanks! My bedroom flooring is vinyl wood. So its wipeable and not a carpet. So I'm planning on using a shower curtain and eventually (when I get enough money) ill buy chloroplast!
