Woke up to my guinea pig chewing on a photo…

I’m own three guinea pigs and simply when I woke I heard a very peculiar chewing coming from their cage. To my surprise it was a childhood photo of me being eaten😖…and it was only a little off the top that was chewed. The wind must of blown the photo quite far. I’m just concerned if my guinea will be okay 😓…atm I’m just looking over them to see if anything unusual happens in their behavior. Thank you for your time and would appreciate anything to know.
 
Just keep an eye on him and if he starts behaving out of the norm then you can get him checked out. Hopefully he didn’t chew off enough to cause issues.

They seem to be doing quite fine and honestly thank you for the reassuring comment. It wasn’t much they bit off but nonetheless still on watch.
 
Glad your photo is ok!

I agree, just keep an eye on them. Their digestive systems are surprisingly robust sometimes (due to the hind gut mechanisms and bacterial populations). Our vets said they have known pigs eat plastic (chewed cage toys etc) and been fine. Anything paper/cardboard based should get broken down just fine. But definitely just keep an eye on them :)
 
Such naughty piggies. I'm sure they will be fine. 😊
