Won't use the toilet?

Hello :)

I bought a corner loo for Milo a while ago, but he will never use it as a loo. He loves sleeping in it! :)) rolleyes Do they eventually realise? I don't think Milo will unless he is trained. Is this possible?

I have never been able to toilet train my piggies. I just do not think they care where they go!

He he a pig's gotta do what a pig's gotta do :(|)

I put newspaper in their trays & hang the hay above so mine tend to eat rather than sleep in theirs, so they do a lot of wee & poops in them, but I still find lots elsewhere lol;) Maybe hang his hay rack above it & then he may not sleep so much?!
 
As piggies pee in their sleep, some of it actually goes where it is supposed to go... ;) I have several piggies who prefer to sleep in the hay trays rather than on the fleece.

Guinea pigs are grassland roamers and have no nests or sets for their young that require tidy toilet habits because a herd is usually gone again by the time things could become a problem.
Some piggies are tidier than others, though, and many will establish corners where they will preferably do their peeing in.
 
All mine seem to use the corner trays and rarely go anywhere else.
 
When your a piggie the whole world is your toilet..... :))
 
My piggies sleep and pee/poop in theirs.
gonna sound weird but have you checked the litter for wet spots?

I have 2 boys and I tried the corner loo thingy. They both wanted to sleep in it (they each have a hidey as well) so it became something to fight over. So, bought a 2nd one - well constant toing & froing until one day both of them ended up together crowded in the one. So I replaced the 2 corner ones with one large rectangle. They sleep stretched out one at each end. As for the poops & weeing they continue to do it wherever. I have seen the younger one drop poops as he is waddling from one end of the cage to the other. So, have given up on the toilet training. However, both boys have learned to go on a towel when they are on my lap!
