For a starters I don’t actually know the names of these bugs, I know it’s something to do with the wood in my propriety, the landlord is coming out tomorrow to access, in the mean time do you guys think they are harmful to Guinea pigs? They’re tiny and don’t seem like much bother and they don’t go near my boys cage, or in the living room where my boys are kept , I’ve just noticed the odd one hanging around there .. I know they are absolutely vile, I keep killing them and then more appear!

Yeah I am doing, they totally creep me out, they haven’t been near the cage but I keep checking to remove them if they do

If you took a picture close up of one of the bugs, I could identify the species to see if it is harmful.

This is one in the bathroom

That looks kind of like a woodlouse, how many legs does it have? But overall, any species I know of that look like it are in any way dangerous. Keep me updated.

They are dangerous or aren’t? I’m not sure on legs lol they’re tiny, don’t move much but they do fly , they came last year when the weather became warm and a bug specialist came and looked at them and said it was something to do with the wood in the property and when it became colder they died

I mean they aren’t dangerous. Just don’t worry about and don’t use any bug spray, as it is poison.

No I won’t do, maybe when the bug terminator comes out he may want to use some sort of spray, if so I’ll have to maybe put my guinea pigs in temporary accommodation

They don't look dangerous for guinea pigs in any way, but you don't want your piggies around when your flat/house is being treated. Please mention to the terminator that you have got guinea pigs and take their advice re. safety.

Hi I will do, thanks a lot. Not sure what sort of accommodation I could put them in, and I wouldn’t want to stress them out by moving them temporarily, maybe I’ll try other steps before having my house treated thanks for the advice :(
