Wooden cage lining

We have had 2 female guinea pigs in a home made wooden cage with fleece liners. We laid some old plastic sheeting under the fleece liners and use pee pads in places. Despite this the floor and walls are getting stained with wee as they like to pee in the corners or edges. The wooden ramp is also getting stained.
It's particularly bad at the moment as one has unexpectedly had 5 babies so there are a lot of piggies in there.
Does anyone has any suggestions of how to avoid the pee on the ramps or corners or what to line the floor/ ramps with?

So, my hutches are lined with floor lino which run up the sides quite a way up because I also discovered this problem. It's fun and games, measuring and scoring to make sure it goes into it one piece but it's so worth it! The ramps are made from wood but the sides are made from correx and stapled to the side of the wood. Any exposed area of correx i.e. the edges and tops are then covered with slide binders cut to size (if you know what I mean). The ramps are covered with carpet which is off cuts and replaced when they get too mucky. It does mean you can wipe clean the ramp sides which do get dirty too.

Also you can use corner hay trays filled with hay which really help and they start to use one specific area...works for me!

Thank you. Lino is a great idea. Do the guinea pigs chew on it? Of the plastic sheet shows above the fleece ours chew on it.
