So I have no access to the Guinea shed whilst builders relay a faulty patio. They have to stay in the house in their indoor cages for two days.

I thought ‘how cool is that’ I can sit in the same room as them, do calls etc and watch my piggies all day long, what could possibly go wrong...

well we are two hours in, every time I am on a call they seem to think it’s a call to action and join in. Then they squabble over who gets the fleece tunnels..it goes on and on! I don’t dare go near the fridge..I may have to move back to the study..

So one of them has an issue with hairloss at the moment (awaiting biopsy results) she is blonde and I always say her floppy hair half bald body reminds me of Boris Johnson.

I am on a Zoom call and just waiting for one of my Russian colleagues to join and look at my little guinea and say..'look at you you little scruff bag, you look like Boris Johnson' not knowing they had just joined the call ....OMG so embarrassing I simply forgot the Zoom call was on! They did ask who I was talking to and came clean that it was a guinea pig..didnt help! But we did all spend a few minutes seeing the funny side!
