The piggies were on a fleece liner today while I extended their cage. Just tidied where they were and there's some weird green stuff. It's the colour of peas or felt tip pen. I'm worried and hoping it's not come out of a piggy. The second photo shows there seems to be a normal amount of normal poos on the liner. Maybe I had leant their pee pads onto something green before I laid them down ? Or their veg caused it.
(Not noticed any sneezing or breathing problems)

I'm taking the 2 sows to Simon Maddock on Thursday to check their teeth are ok, after departed boar becoming dental (possibly due to me previously feeding so much veg and nuggets that he didn't eat enough of his hay).

Could this be food falling out a piggy's mouth, if they're starting to become dental .. they had a few spinach leaves which could be that colour.

It looks like green spit/saliva drops to me? Have you been feeding fresh herbs, spinach etc. ?

Yes I have. Never seen this before. If it's coming out like this, is that a dental sign?

Not necessarily. Could be just a strong sneeze to clear the nose if some food has gone up her nose from eating/drinking too greedily, for instance. Personally I would not worry.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. Sorry for your loss of your lovely black fluffy pig.

Were they eating anything dark green? To me it looks like they were chewing spinach or dark lettuce and dripped it out of their mouths. My pigs have done this to our carpets, much to my husband's dismay! They may also stain themselves green around the mouth, though depending on the color it can be hard to notice.

Yes they'd had spinach leaves. Had them since 2016 and never seen this, thought they had a horrible bug of some kind, I'm reassured to hear you've seen similar. Hope it came out of your carpets!
