a wet bum is nothing new to me - my piggies do that on a regular basis.. especially the ones with white fur of course ::)
so that they always have a slightly damp, yellow hindleg. *sigh*

as for being especially quiet - did it just happen overnight? also, is she your only pig?

no she's not my only pig she lives with her daughter. i know they get wet bums and mine are long haired but it seems very wet. i have trimmmed the excess hair away but to me she doesn't seem herself i know i'm probably worring too much about it she's probably having a off day like we sometimes have.

She could have a bladder infection - it makes them lose control of their pee a bit and would make her miserable.

Please take her to the vets asap - she may just seem a little quiet but they do go downhill so quickly.

You can give human cystitis treatment like Cysteme mixed as per packet instructions and syringe fed as often as you can.

I wouldn't recommend this if you are not confident using the syringe however as she probably won't like it much!

Vets are the best option but the cystitis remedy or even some cranberry juice may help if it is a bladder infection.
