When i first got him he was reluctant to move and seemed to hop like a rabbit he has improved a lot being with my other guinea harley however he seems very weak in his back legs still he is quite young 8 weeks

He isnt squealing or anything he is eating ( like a piggy )and he can hop but he just doesnt seem to walk like harley he hops he is going to the toilet ok

Is there any chance he could have injured them? Best get him to a vet as if he does have fractures or injury to his leg he may be in a fair bit of pain. Is he eating and drinking etc?

Yeah no problems at all he is eating like well a pig seem to hollow legs he is moving quite a lot just dont seem to be walking he is hopping he aint making no pain nose he is following harley everywere

Sometimes this problem can be caused by a poor diet for the first few weeks of the pig's life. What sort of food is he eating?

He is eating wagg guinea pig food plenty of hay carrot kale orange apple sweetcorn peppers celery dandelion leaves all sorts really he has had to much though cos i dont think he used to it

it could be a vitamin C deficiancy called scurvy which can cause issues with stiff joints and makes it harder to walk,i would get to a vetjust in case as it could be a few things x

I have also heard that bunny hopping can be a sign of a vitamin deficiency. If he is improving perhaps it's because you are giving him everything he needs nutritionally. I'd still go to a vet just in case he's in any pain though.

You could give him 0.1ml Osteocare, once daily for three days, I have found that to be beneficial for pigs with similar symptoms. It will do no harm even if it does no good.

I don't know what happened with him but he seems to be moving around a lot now and using them weird i have got some flexicose which is the same thing really you can use it for cats and dogs i got it for my cats socks i was wondering if that would help him too

..."i got it for my cats socks ..."

I thought it was an orthopaedic appliance!!!
Presumably it should read....for my cat, Socks...
