Hey guys. I'll put it simple, neo my guinea pig I think has diarrhoea. there not round there flat and soft and break up easily. They smell more than usual too. Help I dont know what's wrong with him.

Try to cut out the vegetables and ensure he eats plenty of hay. If it is bad though I would seek a vets opinion as it can be dangerous.

How long should I take him off the veg as he lives with 3 others and can't be separated :(

Why not just take him to the vet for advice? If you want to stop the vegetables then take him out when they eat. It will be hard for him though. How bad is the upset stomach? Are they poops runny?

Forum advice is no replacement for veterinary advice, so I suggest you call your vet for some advice over the phone. This thread here may help as your vets are likely to be closed http://theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=90842

In the meantime, as already advised, he should have his fresh veg withdrawn. Remove him from the cage while you feed the other pigs that he lives with, so that they aren't missing out on their food, and return him to the cage when they've finished their veggies.

Is he eating/drinking/acting normally?

He's drinking and eating fine being the greedy pig he is. The poops aren't runny but they aren't hard and round sausage shaped like usual.

Try cutting back on the vegetables and if it does not improve take him to the vets. As long as he is eating and drinking as normal it may just go after a few days.
