So the boyz are spending more and more time in the house because the weather is getting colder.

I'm worried they are getting fed up.

I give them floor time but Marmalade hates it! He just goes over to the cage and wants to climb back in. The only way to get him to stay on the floor is put down his cuddle cup - which he climbs in and stays put (he might as well just be in his cage). Freddie likes to run off and explore and, as long and I can distract him from eating the furniture, seems to enjoy the change of scene.

Any ideas for keeping them stimulated in the house?

Thanx :))

Chop up some veg and space them around the floor, with hay (if you don't mind the mess!) :)) mine love foraging.

All cool ideas!

Maybe a long tunnel can go on the Christmas present list :)

You are doing the best you can, don't worry if they don't seem too interested. The different, shorter daylight hours and being inside the house affects all of us. A tunnel is a good idea; it doesn't have to be round, it can be some long rectangular cardboard boxes placed in a row. Mine have decided they like a toilet tissue tube with hay crammed into it for a toy.

Mine love things that they can run through i.e tunnels so I plonk stuff down that they can go from one thing to another, mine have an inside run and nothing can touch the edges as they go right the way round the edge and nudge and throw anything out of the way. I have a cat litter tray full of hay and I hide food in it (they get hay everywhere :))) they find the prizes and run off with them. Even stuff like a folded over bit of cardboard can keep them entertained and mixing it up, having things out some days and not others.
