Not really a big thing I guess, but I'm going back to school in a few weeks after leaving one or two years ago. I'm going to one a little faraway, so I'll be spending a majority of time on the bus getting stuck in traffic. I am at home literally all the time, and I don't think I'll feel comfortable leaving them out of their cage to free range during the day. I'll be exhausted by the time I get home each day to catch up on a year of work I've missed for incoming exams, and I don't know if they'll get the care they deserve. I'm probably overreacting, but I'm wondering what to do with them to make them get the care they need. It's just a big difference from being at home 24/7 so yeah. Thanks :)

Let them out when you get back from school. They only need a couple of hours of floor time a day - anything extra is a bonus. They will soon get used to their new routine and you will be able to spend more time with them at the weekend. Best thing you can do is not worry about it and don't beat yourself up about it. The most important thing is that you love them and have their best interests at heart which you clearly do so everything else will fall into place.

Lots of luck for going back to school - keeping everything crossed that you manage to catch up with ease x

It is normal for any good Mummy to be worried about her children whether they be the 4 legged ones or the 2 legged ones :lol!:

As long as they have food and water and chewy things etc I am sure they will play and sleep and poop XD while you are not there.

When you get home let them have floor time and then perhaps while you are studying you can them up one at a time with you for some cuddle time.

A little bit of love can go a long way. It is often more about quality of time together than quantity.

I agree with @abi S that the main thing is that you love them and have their best interests at heart and everything else will fall into place.

Good luck with school and be kind to yourself too remember

I agree with the above posters. As long as you can keep them clean, fed and watered - with a bit of floor time in the evenings, you'll be looking after them well enough. Good luck with your school work.

Good luck with your new school. I think you are going to be anxious about everything but you almost certainly don't need to worry about your piggies during the school day. Most of us are out at work or college/school, its no big deal. The pigs will adjust. You can always make them an indoor playpen for when you are out.

Ahh thank you :) Anxiety's high right now in preparation for school so I'm nervous about pretty much everything haha. Thanks for the reassurance as I feel more at ease for the piggies now
