Hello I am Sophie I have 4 piggies in a big enclosure and I bought three of them from pets at home and I think there around 1-3 months and one of them coughed and I looked up and searched for a long time and didn’t reallg find anything so I took her to the vet and they said there healthy and the cough carryed on and I don’t know if it’s because she’s eating to fast because it’s usually happened when she eats and my other one has only started coughing aswell and we took both on them to the vet today and she said they were healthy and I’m just a very worrie . I also found on the internet that is you have a cold or something you can pass it to them well my mum has been in the middle on a cold and she held one and then it’s recently coughed 3 times I think over the last two day and I don’t know if it’s because they eat to fast because there young or something is wrong because both times the vet has said they healthy

Thankyou

Sophie :(

Hi, don't worry about the coughing if the vet has checked them there can't be much wrong. I think you will find that you were right to link it to eating. One of mine coughs every mealtime, they are just enjoying their meal.

Thankyou so much for re-insuring me

Sophie

Welcome to the forum
I agree with the others.
Piggies can live up to their name and practically inhale their food so it ends up with them coughing
