My guinea pig, Penelope, has a strong fixation on eating my hair.

I'm pretty sure she ate some, but I don't want her to die from swallowing it.

Should I be worried if she tries to eat more of my hair?

She always has plenty of hay so I see no reason for her to eat my hair. It would make sense if she had long fur too, but she doesn't.

I wouldn't worry too much unless she managed to gnaw off great long chunks of it.
I know that guinea pigs often eat the hair of their cage mates (or their own hair) so maybe she is just grooming you.

You need not worry; guinea pigs can and do eat hairs without getting problems. In many cases it is a social thing.
