So last night Daisy refused to eat anything and seemed really quiet. She ate one pellet with me watching and then she did eat some grass after she refused her veg and I knew she needed to eat something to keep her going.
I gave her a pinch of probiotics in 1ml of water as that was all I had to give her to make her feel better.
I have been out this morning and fed her, she has eaten all of the veg I gave her this morning and a few pellets. She still seems a little quiet (but she has always been the quieter one). One of the wee stains on the fleece was a little red this morning (not sure if it was daisy's or flash though). I assume this means there is some blood in the wee?

Anyways I am wondering if she needs to see a vet today or if I should just keep an eye on her as she seems perkier this morning?
Any help greatly appreciated, for a very worried guinea mum.

I think it's always worth getting them checked by a vet if something isn't quite right.

If you have time before the appointment, it would be worth trying to get a urine sample.

Have you weighed her recently ? This will be useful info for the vet.

My Rose did this the other night and it turned out to be wind as by the next evening she was back to normal. We did still get her checked though, so I would get her seen if you can. Take both pigs in case the vet can express some urine to test. It may just be a mild UTI or the red could even be from something they have eaten.

I have booked her in today for a check up and will take her cage mate as well :). Thanks for the advice. will let you know later.

So Daisy went to the vet. Vet listened to her heart and felt her bladder for any stones. She couldn't feel anything or hear anything strange. Told me to keep giving her pro-biotics and gave me some pain killer for a few days just in case. She also suggested some fresh pineapple (just a small amount) as it does help to ease any gut blockage or soreness. I haven't given her any as I did not have a pineapple on hand!
After being prodded and poked she did the most massive wee and a couple of poops on the vet table. I have never see a wee so big come out of something so small. Just shows what she thought of the vet. Vet also weighed her and she has actually gained some weight in the past few weeks.
She was also waiting tonight for her tea and tucked into it just like normal. Guess she was just feeling a bit under the weather yesterday.
Thanks for all of your help
