I have mentioned in a couple of threads that I have recently got my guineas an outside run, they go in this for about two hours every morning and love it.They do not go in it for longer because of the dogs. One dog is blind and the other a JRT and our garden is tiny.my guineas live inside and I would never change that but I keep wondering whether to get them a hutch to put them in while I am home (not over night or at work) just to give them change of scene . Do you think this is a good idea or not?.
I'm not sure, I think if they have a good size inside cage and it's safe from your dogs they will be very happy in just that cage with toys, tunnel, chew things, hidey etc going out in the run is a great thing too, maybe chance the layout of their cage ever so often if that's possible I've sort of been doing this with my boys yesterday and they loved the change they were sniffing everything looking, popcorning around etc as long as they have their main things in there somewhere then they should be fine
