I'm just wondering if adding an older boar to two 6 month old brothers would be better then a younger boar of 12 weeks? Older boar would be 2 years old! Big cage, well three Midwest’s adjoined with a run attached. They love the space so would have to take any away from them. Both happy occasional hump and bum swaying but no fighting. Both very healthy now after a long stretch of getting rid of fungal infection and mites!

It sounds like your guinea pigs have a wonderful life with you, but sadly dding a third boar will almost undoubtedly cause problems.
Boar trios are the hardest group to manage with a 90% fall out rate, and you run the risk of them fighting and ending up with 3 single boars.
If you already have a stable, happy pair, then I would definitely stick with that.

So very difficult to add a third boar. If your boys a rd happy how they are best not to try adding another.
Boar trips very seldom work!
