I didn't realise I'd be moving early next year and obviously now I have the sows.
I'm worrying that I may not be able to find somewhere where 1, they won't allow pets or 2, I can't fit all my pigs in.

I'm sort of thinking early but I don't know if this is a good idea or not?
I'm thinking neutering one of my boars and then hopefully pairing them with the girls, so they'll be taking up less room.

Sky currently lives on his own, Loki lives on his own, Bounty lives on his own and the two girls are together.

Bounty can never pair with another boar! Too many failed attempts so I'm thinking try to pair Sky and Loki as they did previously live together and then neuter Bounty.

Bounty is just over two but then I'd worry if something happened during the op.

As he'd have the 6 week wait, somebody could foster my sows until then.

It may even be okay if I pair Sky and Loki, have Bounty in another cage and then the two sows in another cage but I'm just trying to think ahead.

I don't have a good paid job and never will so we may not be able to get a place with a garden and then I have to somehow fit all the cages in a place that possibly won't be very big :/

Gah!

Btw this isn't now! Wouldn't even be until after new years if this was a possibility.

Ohh I really hope you won't have to part with your piggies. It's good to plan ahead, but hopefully you will find somewhere where you can still keep them. Good luck. :)

I dealt hope it isn"t the case that you have to part with any piggies for good. Unless you are moving to the centre of Huntingdon next year you should be able to get a place with an ok harden in the area for ok money. If you do need a temp for the girls when you move I am happy to help.

Hi, i am very hopeful you will be able to find somewhere that allows pets. many letting agencies automatically say 'no pets' when in fact the actual property owners may not mind, also often they are thinking more of cats and dogs so it is always worth asking.
i am a long way from you but would be happy to foster your girls short term if needed. i could collect them from northampton, where i used to live, if a piggy train was arranged to get them there. (Debbie furry friends will be able to vouch for me) :)

They would be more than welcome to stay with us hun. Cant promise i'll give them back though :))

xx
