Would I lie?

I often get texts saying something along the lines of "I'm going out now. Pigs have been fed. Don't let them tell you otherwise, they are not starving. Do you really think they'd let me leave the house if I hadn't." I usually reply "are you sure they look pretty hungry to me" and then give them a pellet each saying "honestly poor boys I can't believe daddy didn't feed you. Isn't he terrible".

We normally let each other know but I was on live meetings for work and had run out quickly to give her some food while @sport_billy was round his moms (support bubble) and I was still on the live meeting when he got back.

This happened to us last week, I had an online tutorial, piggy daddy came in from his morning care work calls and thought they looked hungry... the piggies may lie but their waistline doesnt because Blod had the vet later and the vet said, I wonder if her tummy is a bit distended? Erm, that might be a symptom of double breakfasts, nothing sinister!

That doesn't happen in this house. I am responsible for feeding piggies. Daddy doesn't get involved at all unless I ask him to throw some veg in their general direction which doesn't happen very often. They do start asking for their dinner veg at 4pm when they get veg anytime between 4.30 and 5.30pm (Not talking about you Meg at all!)

Ruby does this all the time.
As soon as she hears her favourite slave come home from school she starts wheeking and hurling herself at the bars.
Her well trained slave rushes over and then tells me off for not looking after her poor baby.
I point out the pellets scattered all over the cage - Ruby loves to remove them from her bowl - and I still get told off for not giving Ruby pellets she actually wants to eat.

Is this a face that would lie? Would this little beauty lie to her daddy and con him into giving her a second tea? Would this adorable one get fed by mom and then convince dad she hadn’t had any tea? Well yes that is exactly what she has done tonight. View attachment 167388

I have received word through the piggy grapevine that no lies were told at all in the gaining of a second dinner... It's not her fault her daddy is such a softie, all she did was make eye contact...
