I'm not sure this is the right place for this, but I'm hoping someone can help...

We have 2 girls (a Swiss teddy and a Peruvian) and we're being forced out of our flat (because the landlord is selling - not because of the pigs!). After searching for a place and being unsuccessful, we've decided to extend our yearly visit to my family abroad from a few weeks to 3 months. We've been unable to find anyone to look after our pigs for so long (so far - still looking!) and the cost of boarding for so long is really prohibitive. Was wondering if anyone on this site had any suggestions? We're in North London...any ideas about cheaper boarding places, someone looking to test drive some pigs before deciding to commit...any help at all? (We can supply everything they need, inc cage for the period)

I am very sorry for your pickle! Hopefully you can find a temporary foster place and a permanent piggy compatible flat!
 
Edited as for some reason I missed the part about going abroad.

Do you not have any friends that would be willing to look after them for some cash? x

Sorry, too far away. I can do this if anyone in the Derby, Notts, Leciester, Sheffield area needs boarding free of charge.
 
Thanks for all the replies. We have asked everyone we could think of and they've all said no (I think it's the duration of the trip that's scaring people off). I've just emailed the boarding home that was suggested above, so fingers crossed.
