I've only got one piggy right now but will be getting another soon. Just wanted to ask if this is a good home for two? 47"L x 24"W x 14"H in cm would be around 120cmL x 60cmW x 35cmH. Does anyone have other suggestion / thoughts on this? Thank you

if possible, if you have room enough, try to buy a larger cage. C&C cages are wonderful and you could also build a cage by yourself using coroplast and a plastic net all around.
I have two sows and I have little room, therefore I could build a cage 130cm x 80cm and putting inside hideys and bowls, the space for moving is minimal, considering that they love running all around. My sows spend half day on the floor, though.

If you are planning on eventually having 2 boars, then this might be a bit tight.
I would second the suggestion of a C&C.
For me the fact that you can make them any shape you want allowed us to have a much bigger cage than we initially thought, as we could make it L shaped to take advantage of the space we had.

thank you I hadn't seem these. thinking of price/space I could fit the 2x4 (149cm x 77cm) cage or if I moved them from the table to the floor the 2x5 (185cm x 77cm). I am assuming everyone would suggest the bigger one?

For 2 boars it would be minimum recommended 2x5. 2 girls the minimum is 2x4 though.

Boys need extra space to keep all the testosterone :))

I think either way as long as the floor is ok for them I will probably get the 2x5. thanks guys :)
good choice! and in the future you could also buy new squares and build a loft...
For the bedding I am using fleece and newspapers underneath which absorb wee perfectly and the cage has no smell at all. There are users who put different layers underneath, there are different solutions. If you want to save money consider the newspapers (I use flyers taken from supermarkets and from my building's post box)
