Hello!
My pig seems to have cut himself on the nose. It is not bleeding very much but it is bloody. I put some vetricyn (something we have in the US, not sure about the UK, it is an antibacterial spray for animals) on it, but I just wanted to make sure there isn’t anything else I should be doing?
Thanks!

Hi, I'm not sure what to do, the most I can do is bump this thread to the top of the page for you, so that in the morning here in UK, everyone online will see it faster 👍

I’m no expert by any means, but as for wounds I have just generally treated by cleaning them with a saline solution. You can make your own with a ratio of one teaspoon of salt mixed in one pint of boiled water (let it cool obviously) and pat the area dry.

I would just keep a close eye on it that it doesn’t become mucky or infected because of where it is, sweet.

Thank you so much guys! I figured it was just basic wound care, just glad I don’t need to worry.
