Wow you are a very blessed person indeed I have only heard Zee chirp once and I thought there was something terribly wrong because I never knew a guinea pig could make such a sound. Ha haa!
But I had owned four Guinea pigs before her and never heard a piggle chirp. So wow!
Such beautiful ladies by the way.

it's a fantastic thing to hear isn't it. only last week i decided to re-arrange my hutches. molly used to have a 4' hutch next to beau and woody (with a mesh divider between them) but now molly has passed i decided to open the hutch up to make a lovely 8' one. i moved honey, hope and heidi out of their 6' hutch into the now 8' hutch and put beau and woody into the 6' hutch. all have now got an extra 2'. hope, as many of you will know is blind so moving her was quite a big decision. she now has 2 ramps to run up and hay lofts at the top to work out as well as being in a bigger hutch. but i needn't have worried as within minutes of putting them in there she was running around popcorning and chirping like i have never heard before - sshe must have been so excited have all this extra space. she runs full speed down one ramp and straight up the other chirping away as she does it. it is so funny to watch her - honey and heidi look on in either amazement or shock|)

Amelia our top herd piggy chirps on occasions and it worries me she's upset over something
Always give her a quick fuss and she scampers off happily about her business keeping the other girls in line :x
It is such a lovely sound but still baffles me as to why she does it :...
