Wowzers.....V.I.Piggies fully booked for a week in August already!

Who'd have thought it?!? I started up my little guinea pig and rabbit boarding business about 6 weeks ago, and we're already fully booked up for a week in August, and we have repeat bookings from a very satisfied customer!

To say I am chuffed to bits would be an understatement! xx>>>

We currently have a lovely cuddly sow, Patch, staying with us for a few days, then we have two bunnies arriving on Thursday for the weekend (these are the repeat customers) and then another bunny arriving on Friday to stay with us for the next three weeks!

We took another booking yesterday for 2 bunnies for a week at the end of July.....it's all snowballing quicker than I thought possible, to be honest!

For the fully booked week in August, we have three solo bunnies, two bonded bunnies and two bonded guinea pigs......I think I'd better have some early nights before then, in preparation for all that extra work.....it's worth it though, I love having boarders to stay!

No real point to posting, I'm just so excited about my new venture that I wanted to share with the good people of this forum - you all gave me loads of encouragement when I first came up with my cunning plan, so I wanted to say thank you!

Ow! Well done! What a great idea to set up your own little bussiness like that! And you are booked out already! Congarts! Any pigtures of your boaders?!
 
Hi guineagurl, thanks for your reply - I can't believe how well things are going, to be honest! I have got a couple of pics of boarders on my website www.vipiggies.co.uk and I have some on my home computer (I'm at work at the moment) - I'll post them later.

The piggy I have in at the moment is a proper little chunky girl; she only arrived this morning, so I'll give her a chance to settle in before I take some pics of her.

Onwards and upwards!

Sounds like it's going really well- congratulations!

One point though- please make sure you have the owners permission before posting pictures of their pets. Some people might not like it, I know I would expect to be asked first. It's the same as signing permission for photos etc at school for your children. x

Hi all, thanks for the replies......Kringeldec, I've already chanced it and used a couple of pics of bunnies actually using the accomodation on my website (I don't have any bunnies of my own, and I needed pics of bunnies to show the size of the cages/runs), but in future, I'll get permission from the owners.

Great news you are so booked up, we are really busy this year too and we don't even do bunnies!

I hope you don't mind, I had a look at your website and just had a couple of things you may want to change - well not change as such as they are fine as they are, just improve is maybe the word! Would you rather I PM you? xx
 
Congratulations and i am totally jelous, i would love to do something like this but no time or space, at least not yet anyway. I am not great with Geography and have no idea how far away you are from Coventry but maybe some time we could use you xx
 
Hi JoBo, thanks to the wonders of the AA routefinder (:))) I can tell you that we're 23.5miles from Coventry city centre. So no distance at all, LOL!

Thanks! x>> We're actually thinking of doubling up on the size of the accommodation (i.e invest in another 120cm 3 storey cage), as, not only are we booked up for August, we actually have a waiting list of two more bunnies!
