wrong food!

I accidentally picked up bunny food instead of guinnea food! Peanut had some last night and he seems happy enough, I read the back and it has vit C in it, I just wondered if it can do any harm, and how different is it? they look the same.....:^-

Bunny food generally does not have the right nurtitional balance that guinea pig food has such as stabilised vitamin C.. he should be for a few days until you can get some more if he has a good variety of veg and plenty of hay

I'm always running out of Excel...lol they should be fine without dried for a couple of days it's only 5% of the diet just make sure they have a bit more veg for the vit c. I wouldn't give anymore bun food incase it upsets the tummy.

ah thanks! i think my neighbour has some dried food so ill go nick some of hers! Plus i think ill ring for that free sample of food thats been posted up in the forum! xxxxx
