I was looking through my new guinea pigs Honey & Blossom, & I found just one lice on Honey, but I know that can spread to Blossom then they could get twice as much!
My other guinea pigs had lice and we went to the vet and he gave us "Xeno" it got rid of them like straight away after 6 weeks!
But I was thinking of buying it for Honey & Blossom, but I dont know whether they are old enough for it, they are only 9 weeks old!
Could anyone help me!?

my piggie at the moment are on xeon and off similar age, this has been given by the vet , and will take 6 weeks 3 doses to clear , and its been just over a week now since the 1st dose , and does not seem to be doing anything so far , is this normal

I think you will notice the different when you give them there next dose!
My other guinea pigs where covered in lice we took them back ever 2 weeks to get needles but that didn't move the lice so the vet gave us Xeno and after there 2 dose of it they moved! So fingers crossed yours does the same! (:

Xeno is done by weight, it's also a prescription medication, so you would have to pop your piggies along to your vet to make sure they're healthy before they would be able to sell it to you for those pigs. This would also enable them to work out the right dose for their weight.

xeno 50 mini is for small/young pigs, make sure you get that one !
