Maybe they are the same ones that phoned me at 7.30 this morning and 9 o'clock last night, and 10 o'clock the night before? Just cos they are awake and want to talk doesn't mean I do (unless it's an emergency, which it wasn't).

You need to invest in an answer machine!

I do - well BT 1571 does the job but it doesn't stop the phone ringing. Can't turn it off in case it's an emergency (or the alien child needs her mother).

Usually the out of hours calls don't even bother leaving a message if the phone isn't answered so they obviously expect to speak to someone other than the machine. mallethead

At least with an answer machine you can record your own charming message telling them to call back during the day unless it's an emergency!

I'm on night shifts this week... I'm sure i'll get some lovely OOH 3am calls. Joy. lol. Although at least I'm supposed to be answering phone calls and its not my day off.
