I've brought the out door run into the house in the kitchen because its chucking it down and I wanted to have them out for some exercise. Free range isn't a good idea with a 2 year old :)) and they love it! they've both been popcorning like crazy, which for a heavily pregnant pig to do is very amusing to watch, and running laps round it. I'm seriosly considering adapting it to fit where the cages are so they can live inside. They have more room and really love it!

Awwww, sounds like they really enjoyed themselves.

I use a puppy pen as an outside run. I made a top for it using half a fireguard which has a handy hinge and clip. Anyway, I have major plans to convert this into a c& c type cage for indoors over winter. My brother is going to make a floor for it with 6" sides which I will cover with vinyl. Then I'll make a 2nd floor with ramp to be a hayloft. I'm going to peg fleece around the pen under the hayloft to make a cosy draft free sleeping area and the rest will be running around and play space. The pen is about 6ft long, 3ft wide and 4ft high. Does this sound ok or is there something I've not thought of?

Emma, it sounds like your piggies loved indoor exercise time!

They did. and it sounds great! and huge! where abouts in west yorkshire are you?

I brought my boys inside for a run around today too due to the rubbish weather and all they did was nibble a bit of hay, wheek for some carrot and sleep!
