Junior Guinea Pig
We have a REALLY long hallway, so for out time we close all the doors and one person sits on each end and we let the pigs run around between us for 20-30 min. At first they were TERRIFIED and would try to hide and scream so I would put them away. Then I got the idea of putting some tubes and old shoe box I cut an entrance in, in the hallway. The first time with the new stuff they just ran in the box or hid in the tube until I put them away. This morning, right after breakfast I put them in there and at first Penelope ran to the end and started screaming, Smores ran next to her and she stopped, and then Smores started running around popcorning. Penelope soon joined in and they were just running around having a blast. Rose stayed mostly in the house but popcorned in there a few times, the box was jumping and she was chattering to her sisters who would run in there, chatter back and then run around popcorning some more. So fun to see! The kids got a kick out of it. We also put our gerbil in there and all 4 girls have a great time. What a FUN morning. I was sad to put them back because they were just having too much fun!
