I put Hamish & Dougal into the new side of their cage to see if it would encourage them to go over the log bridge into the old familiar side & after a little while of pootling about in the new side, they did it! Dougal was first, leaving a somewhat bewildered Hamish, but then about 4 minutes later after much clucking and chatting between them, Hamish went over too. :)) I'm so proud, lol, however it remains to be seen whether they will remember and repeat the performance. :))

I'm sure they will. It may take a few days but I'm sure they will remember. My gingers just jump over the side and if they land on top of another piggy, it seems to be much more fun for them.
I live in hope that Rosie will learn to use the bridge properly, but for the time being I just swop her over to the other side for a change of scenary. x
 
And they've just done it again! :)) This time I put some tomato in the new section and showed it to them before putting it down and they came over for it very quickly. :)
 
Aw that's good, it took Charlie a day to work out where Kenny had gone when I joined the cages together. He was not happy being on his own, he was running round wheeking and throwing food about till I put him on top of the ramp. He jumped down into Kennys cage and he's really good now, climbing over all the time.
 
They both seem to have got the hang of it now. :) Although Dougal seems to have taken to sleeping on the ramp! rolleyes
 
Yes, charlie does that too. In the morning, he will sit on top of the ramp and wheek for veggies now. :))
