Went to my local Animal sanctuary today and they had a lovely about a year old boar (neutered). He is Ginger and black.
After lots of persuaion hubby said I could give him a home with my 2 girls :<>

Got too pass the home check but hopefully he will be coming home soon xx>>>

Just need some name suggestions and advise on bonding them. I have the spare clean and ready.
 
well quarantine him for a few weeks firstly just to make sure he doesn't have anything.

Then put the cages together so they can see one another and have a good sniff and touch noses.

Then introduce them in a neutral environment so its not anyones territory.

Be ready with a towel just in case there is a argument.

What am I to expect on a home check? I know my cage is big enough for a 3rd. What else do they look at?
 
A run maybe?
What are your girls called ? So can think of a name which matches :))
 
They have got an outdoor run, which i will upgrade in summer, and they have the run of the kitchen floor on wet days and some days when i'm cleaning out.

My 2 girls are called Flash & Nibbles.
 
I like the name Peanut for some reason. Mango. Harry. .... errrr mind block! Have you had your home check yet? :)
 
I have been thinkng about Pheonix?

Not had home check yet. Will be this week sometime.

Phoenix is nice, firey! I would be soooo excited. I wish I could have more guinea pigs.
 
It goes with his colouring aswell. (red & black)
Also the hubby said he is getting a 2nd chance at life so it's like he's rising from the ashes :) Witch i thought was nice!

Will keep you posted on home check and get some pic's.
