There are no local places to get piggy supplies that doesn't sell animals, so I end up going to those petstores, but never buy and animals. A couple of weeks ago I noticed a PEW 6-8 week old boar lying down and breathing really heavily. I told a worker who couldn't care less, but took him to the back and said he would be checked on. The 7 hammies that I got in recently my brother took over so I could concentrate on my rescue, so we were in there for some supplies, my Mum was going to meet us there after going to Home Depot, and we would go for lunch.
Well, the piggy was back in the cage, where the only other one was a much smaller one, so all of the ones he was with were bought, and all the ones that came in with the other were bought. They were both breathing heavy, and even if someone does get one of them, I don't think it will be him. It was quite sad and I was very close to getting them, but my Mum reminded me I have a healthy herd and shouldn't chance it in case it's airborne, so I didn't. It's a very sad situation and I hate it. Petstores are just awful
