Hi everyone, lurker here!

Piggy slave to Flash and Gordon. They were adopted from Pets at Home, they had been in the adoption bit for 4 months, apparently moved from the Cleethorpes store. I saw them and absolutely couldn't resist even though I try to avoid getting animals from pet shops! (Sorry!)

So anyway back to the thread title! Today I took delivery of my own dedicated Guinea pig/Rabbit vegetable fridge! Yay! My husband is amazing and so lucky to have him. He literally didn't bat an eyelid to the suggestion that a small fridge would solve our problem of never having any room in our own fridge!

Anyway, thanks to you all on this forum, it's been a brilliant resource and have been enjoying reading all the threads and looking at all the photos.
Here are some photos of my lads for your enjoyment :-D

What gorgeous piggies.
And what lucky piggies to have their own dedicated fridge full of yummy veggies.

Love the cage setup, and the minifridge is just really adorable!
And Flash and Gordon are

Beautiful pigs, love the set up! My girls had their own fridge in my last place, not enough room
For one now :-(

:wel: to the forum. I can see why you couldn't resist Flash and Gordon.

dedicated Piggy Fridge - now, there's an idea

Thanks so much, ah that's a shame about not having the room anymore. It is pretty handy.

Thanks for the welcome! As soon as I saw them I turned into a toddler begging my husband for them and as you can see he gave into me as I didn't leave without them! Ha. Poor husband!

My fridge is chocca with piggy veg .I too have a very understanding boyfriend. He is doing up two old hutches for my bunnies. He took me to windermere to pick up a rabbit and guinea pig and quickly realised I had fell in love with the rabbit so bought her a cage so she could stay then adopted a boy to keep her company.

Having a piggy fridge is something i could seriously considder for chock as he does eat a lot and the veg does take up a bit of room in the kitchen one...

Really love your setup! A piggy fridge too! Love their names, am a huge Flash Gordon fan :)

Gorgeous piggies

Aww thank you. The cage is made from an old wardrobe and was a labour of love :-) My husband picked the names! Ha. Part of the way I get my own way is by letting him be involved in some of the decision making! Haha.

Extra photos-
Hay nest/bed!

Very talented! If i attempted a cage the piggies would put in a request to move!

My amazing grandad supplied the tools and the know how. I just had a dodgy drawing! Husband was the heavy lifting and hammering! I do love it though. Although wanting to make it bigger or make a new cage now to give them even more space! It's addictive isn't it!

it is really addictive, we went through a faze of buying loads of cosies etc.... :) There is always something cool to buy the piggies isn't there...

Yours seem to love the little beds. Where did you get them from?

Oh gosh! I've been addicted to buying those too. I have some from Stephs piggiee paradise, some from snoozies cozies, some from piggypigpigs, some from eBay and a few cushions from ikea! Also made my own liners and little pee pads.

It's certainly kept me busy!
