You come in from the freezing cold after a nightshift, to piggies living in a centrally heated house all tucked up in their cosies and think "gosh its cold today, poor lads" and then promptly make them weetabix soaked in warm water for them so that they can enjoy a warm breakfastrolleyes

He he. Sounds a bit like our house! Spoiled piggies indeed!

oooo can you give them weetabix? I've been doing the same with the pellets for the babies:))

My flat is freezing and I would be more than happy just snuggled up in a duvet with a hot water bottle - but the minute it starts getting chilly - the heaters on for the piggies!

As its an electric heater - I can't leave it on during the day due to it being a fire hazard, so going to buying them some of those snugglesafe pads so I at least know they are warm whilst I'm at work! Also a couple of snuggle sacks will be going on order too.....

Just normal shop bought Weetabix?

Never knew you could do this.

Coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool :)

Yup I give mine sainsburies cheap brand ones and they are always attacked with gusto, Caspian ignores his veg in favour of a weetabix. It's a once a week treat for my lot. Just a couple of points to make. Make sure they are well soaked before hand I use warm water otherwise they swell inside them and don't use milk as piggies are lactose intolerant. Mine lot also love the occasional shredded wheat as well.

:)) i got in around 4am this morning (naughty slave:x) and turned the heating on for the pigs as it felt cold before I tucked myself up in bed rolleyes but shhhh don't tell the sleeping OH, he'll kill me! :))

I didnt know you could give piggies weetabix - though Bumble did shove his face in Astons bowl the other day and was troughing away - but it has to be soggy so it doesnt swell in their tummies does it?

So I rush to the supermarket to get the boyz some Weetabix...

Forgetting they are the fussiest piggies in the world.

I tried everything to get them to try it... when Freddie started stamping in it - soggy Weetabix sploshing everywhere - I gave up!

Ha!
