When you get excited over carrots with tops in the supermarket. :red

I gasped really loudly and got several looks...but that doesn't matter because the pigs will be just as excited :(|)

funny you should say that i did exactly the same when in sainsburys the other day both of my kids were looking at me like 'carrots SERIOUSLY' :)p

We get our veggies delivered from a farm. Ive always thought having to chop all the greens off the top of things was annoying but now I am grateful for them :)
 
I always pop into asda at 7 on the way to line dancing. I struggle into dancing with a big bag and the others are saying what have you got? I get all excited and get out spring veggies, cucumber etc. they look at me as if I am mad.inbreeding
 
lol I know what you mean, I am getting really excited about hay ... my friend can not believe I am able to talk about such things for so long ....:) thumbs up for a great piggie mum from me too! :)
 
I can never find them in supermarkets near me, so i get mine from the market. I did get some reduced in tesco the other day, i did get excited then :))
 
If you are excited about carrot tops just wait til the sweetcorn with leaves comes in !:))

My farm shop has had their first crop!

I admitted last time I was in there that I only buy the carrots and the corn for the leaves rolleyes")
 
The lady in Tesco's commented on how health my food shopping was....lol

I had to admit it wasn't for me, but for my piggies! Big bags of carrots, spring greens, broccoli, cucumber etc etc

I reaaally want some corn with the green leaves! I spend ages looking in tescos for these special veg
