Just seen a thread similar to this on a hamster forum and thought it was sooo cute but my first instinct was to do it for piggies! So,
You know your a piggy parent when,

you are constantly covered in hay
all of your pictures on your phone are of your piggies! :)
They eat waaaaay more in veg than you do

Right lets here some more! :)) x
 
When There are traces of wood shavings all over the house.

When the piggies eat better than you do sometimes

when You spend loads of money on Christmas pressies for them

When you spend most of your time just sitting by their hutch/cage talking to them

(great idea by the way!)
 
when your life revolves around them
you buy more food for the pigs than you
you spend more money on them than yourselves
every now and then you find poop pellets around the house
 
OOO I have another! When they are warmer in their cages than what you are! Because they have fleece heat pads and heating in the room if they need it rolleyes
 
When you go food shopping for you and spend hours in the pet area reading all of the packaging to see which is healthier for the Piggies when you're just throwing your own food in the cart not caring. <3
 
You always ask for a paper bag when buying your groceries
You spend more time on the guinea pig forum than watching tv @)
You peruse for hours in the veggie section in supermarkets working out the weeks piggy menu
You spend more time chattering to your herd than you do your other half

You root about in the stationery cupboard at work for empty boxes
You find out that your piggys have more stuff to go in the washing machine than you do
You have photos of your piggys on your desk at work but no sign of the other half x)
The first thing you do when you come home from/go to work is talk to your piggys

Last but not least when a pigture of your piggys is on your facebook profile, phone and desktop at work

Your sending an email at work and you realise you've spelt the weekend as the 'wheekend' - glad spell checker picked that up... :))
 
You feed your piggies first in the morning, before your kids :)
 
When I'm sat on the bed, picking hay off my top, and watch a piggy doing laps around the bedroom :))
 
When you miss your non-refundable work's Christmas do to sleep on the floor all night next to your pig's cage to check he is OK after his bladder procedure. (He was fine, my colleagues think I'm crackers, and all I had in to eat was 2 frozen veggie sausage rolls!)
 
You're laying in the bath when you see a piece of hay or shavings float past.
You can't have anything to yourself because the moment you open any form of packet they want some too.
You find yourself keeping quiet the hour before feeding time because the moment you open your mouth they'll realise you're there and ask for food!
You decorate their houses for Christmas before you've even got the tree out of the box.
You are willing to be awake and travel at any time of the day or night, and won't stop until they're being treated or getting better.

when you're at a restaurant and you try and sneak the bread basket out to make a foraging toy with!

and when the groceries are delivered and the driver say's wow you're really healthy and you reply 'no its the piggies food' (they look at me like i'm crazy!)

when friends are round and they want to make a salad but i shut the fridge and say NOOOO! thats the piggies breakfast!
 
when every item of clothing you own is covered in piggy hair
when you go to take a shower and all you have to wash your hair in is 'gorgeous guineas' shampoo's! mallethead
 
When you read them the hungry caterpillar because they love to listen to your voice. I may just be completely bonkers but they actually do settle down if I read to them.. rolleyes
 
-You have to wear earplugs when you go to bed.
-Everything is covered in little tiny bits of hay.
-You can no longer have a lie in- "It's 7AM have you forgotten we are starving here"
- Your photobucket account won't let you upload any more pictures as you have used up the allowance on piggy pics.
 
You look at all the cauliflowers in the shop and pick the one that has the most leaves.
 
When you do 6 loads of laundry at the weekend, 3 of those loads are the piggies' things and they get done first - just did that! When you take a load of clothes to the op shop so the piggies' things can expand from one to one and a half wardrobes. When you've had to forego the morning cuppa until after the piggies have got their brekkie veg. When you put them on your shoulder and take them walkabout around the house telling them all about where they live.
 
When your brother and piggy fall asleep together on the sofa and you dash for the camera saying "OmigoshI need that pigture of Nibbles! The forum are gonna love it!" :)

When you realise every photo on your phone is of the piggies.

When you buy them a new heatpad despite the fact you really need a haircut and new dressing gown.

When you tell the assistant in the shop that you want a really soft fluffy dressing gown because the piggies will like cuddling up in it, in the morning!
