You know you're crazy about guineas when...

I know - I feel bad if I ever have to cut the grass (not a problem this year lol) and would love a green sward with no dandelions, but that would be depriving the piggies!

Your lawn has definitely bounced back from the drought! How did you manage that - mine is short, but green again at last.

I keep half our lawn uncut, just for the guineas! I section it off with solar lights to make it look like two separate areas! I can't believe how much I love those guinea girls and the lengths I go to for them!x

... you let the lawn grow this long just for the pigs!

And are very happy that dandelions love it too!
Looks like a great piggy buffet! Our dandelions are all gone now, the piggies are sad, we just have clover and grass. Most of my neighbors treat their yards to get rid of those things lol.

The horticulturist in me wants a perfect (treated) lawn, but the piggie mum in me says NO !

I’ve been letting the dandelions grow in the front garden for my poorly boy, not sure what the neighbours think!

Noo. Are lawns getting cut tomorrow but my piggies are indoors and don't go out much . They will when we have a shed . But today my Hildenborough loved the chance of going out with there kidi sisors and cutting a load of crass and dandies for the piggies :)

Sorry stupid auto correct it was mentioned to say children :hb:

The soil is clay in some areas and next door has paved over their garden completely, so it's usually a swamp in winter. The recent summer conditions seem to have been ideal for it!

Our grass is divided down the middle by a concrete path so I normally cut one side one week and the other the next. This year I've hardly mown any. I have now given a third of the veg plot over to grass, to be cut for the piggies. I'm hoping if it's never mown it will keep us going through the winter.
