Went to a farm shop near Ringwood, haven't been there before, so wanted to price up their sacks of piggie pellets and musile, see if good price ,they had a good range to choose from, the lady was lovely,we got talking,she was interested about my rescue piggies, and asked what their diet is. She then told me something l did not know, which is that a lot of rabbit and piggie pellets and musile is the same, but because piggies are classed as exotic pets there is 20% vat on their feed,were as rabbits are classed as food. And were encouraged to rear them during the war. Hence no vat on their feeds.

And most significantly , because bunny food often contains something rabbits need for their health (can't remember exactly what right now !) which is toxic to Guineas.

Some of them are different, some add vitamin C, ,The lady show me 2 sacks the same, 1 piggie,1 rabbit,the only different is the name,by having guinea pig feed,it has to have 20% vat,
