Younger Male Is Boss

Yesterday I successfully bonded my pair of boars. Gizmo is the oldest and his is 6 moths old and Bolt is 12 weeks old. Gizmo is really big compared to Bolt but somehow Bolt is the 'boss' Gizmo is just so chilled and just loves the company of another guinea pig! At first I was worried about Bolt being the 'boss' but it kinda eased my mind when I saw them both cuddling together in the same igloo ( 3 in there cage! ) should I be worried about this or should I just let them get on with it! I am happy they like eachother and they seem to have a really strong bond already!

Let them get on with it. There is nothing you can do anyway; it is not like you can change their personalities! They have obviously bonded.

Dominance has more to do with personality than age/size (right now I have Sundae, 6.5 years old, and 2-year-old Hadley. Hadley is the boss. She has been the boss since we introduced them when Hadley was 12 weeks old. Sundae has never had a desire to be the boss. We joke that Sundae doesn't even want to be the boss of Sundae, as she is really anxious/fearful/lost on her own.) There's nothing you can do to influence who is the dominant pig, what matters is that they both seem happy with the status quo and are getting along!
